Come on really!?

Right this blog isn’t spiritual, it isn’t filled with knowledge that will change your life. This Blog is about Asian Car companies, and my rant against them.

The Asian car industry is known for new technology and new retro style cars. But I think this year line up of Asian car concepts have people’s heads turning. Not because they are putting out the best hybrid or the best technology. I believe they are turning heads and people are saying, “What went wrong there?!” Now I am an All American kind of girl. I am into American muscle, and not really impressed by the Asian’s attempt of making any type of muscle car. But I have always had a silent admiration of there creativity. But this years concept are not creative, but just seems they got bored and ran out of ideas… here are two I picked out of there line up…

Meet the Daihatsu basket concept. The Japanese have a long history of making small cars that can best be described as cute. But this is no way shape or form cute. This is awful to the fold-down rear tailgate, from  the basket also features a rear toolbox that can easily be hosed out. What man on earth would want to be seen in a basket at a construction site?

Next is the Nissan Land Glider concept. Now I can see how this vehicle's ability to lean into corners, which helps it maneuver around in tight spaces might attract people with narrow streets and congested traffic. But what is so wrong with a motorcycle? Heck even a scooter? Is this there real attempt at a electric car? If so F for FAIL!!!

What is the car industry coming to? I think it very wise that the Asian’s are trying there hardest in making a more efficient electric car. But just cause the car runs on electricity shouldn’t mean you have to sacrifice other passengers, and space. I really had to hang my head in embarrassment for these designers. But luckily this new year has hope for a new smart electric car, that doesn’t sacrifice passengers, space, or common sense.

Meet the Chevy Volt! I have had my eye on this car for awhile.

Thank goodness someone is saving the future of the automotive industry!!!
