What is the most touching act of love anyone has done for you ? And that you did for someone else ?

Ummm... Touching act... I would have to say when Baddog (George) took me into his home when I was kicked out of my ex's house and had no where to go. Ummm what have i done?? I can't really think of anything major... but I would say that I would count the things as little but to the other person it was probably a huge act... so I would have to ask other people what kind of an impact I've had. From just being a friend, to cooking someone a homemade meal, or paying for a strangers Starbuck.... all depends on your perspective

Suffocating Abyss

The thoughts haunt my mind,

The ghostly images of past.

I blame the love that made me blind,

I close my eyes to ease the images at last.

The images come and go,

I wish I could just forget.

From the time of our first hello,

to the very last threat.

Pain, is all my mind is wrapped around,

the sorrow of this piercing era.

Suffering, intoxicating, excruciating, heavy compound.

But I must cross this Sahara.

How do I climb out of this?

Where do I begin to heal?

To start mapping out this past abyss,

Time to take back my heart get rid of this steal.

What's the secret to happiness?

There is no secret you just decide to be happy. Bible even says to count it all joy when you fall into various trials and temptations (James 1:2)

What is Love?

Hey people’s! Well what is love? I’m gonna scribble down my feelings right now. But please if you have an answer to this question please send me a comment, for me and others who have the same question…

This question popped up when I was surfing the local radio stations. The Song What Is Love by Haddaway came through the speakers…

What is it about this four letter word that has people in confusion, in pain, in frustration, ect. LOVE is very complicated subject, why? Cause the English Language sucks! Lol sorry to my English friends, no hard feelings. But English is probably the only language that someone can say… “I love my wife” then say “I love Tacos” What!? How can one word describe both feelings. Certainly someone can’t love their wife the same as they love something that might might just give them heartburn… (Lol, actually a relationship might give you a different kind of heartburn, just a random thought.)

When it comes to Love… the bible says God is love… So I’m gonna attempt to explain 3 different kinds of Love you find in Hebrew, in the Book of “Song of Songs.”

First love we find is Raya. Raya is the love you feel for a companion, a close friend. Someone you can tell anything to. Someone you know how will come to your defense and to be the shoulder to cry on. The listening ear when your lost or confused. This is the type of Love Jonathan and David had for each other in the bible.

Second love we find is Ahava. This love is more then just friends. Its the type of love you feel when you “falling in love.” Your thoughts are bent toward this one person. You just want to be with this person. Its the kind of love that makes you want to talk on the phone for hours, then once you hang up you just want to call them up again. This can also be the dating love, we find in now and days.

Third, and last love we find is Dod. This is the sexual intimacy love. The passion and the heat between a man and his wife. This love is attraction the physical aspect of Love. This is the love we refer to as “Love making.” One thing important to mention this is not just sex. This is deeper, this is the sexual connection. (One thing to add is that you need to have the first 2 loves, the Raya and Ahava, before you get into the Dod. Ever hear the term meanness sex? Some relationship are hot, but burn out… is because the relationship was lacking the Raya, and Ahava… In the song of songs it clearly says you must have these three loves to have great love. To have the love that the characters of the man and women feel for each other you must have all three loves, as to not burn out.)

This question has been stuck in my head all week. Not only because of a song that was playing on my radio. But because I find myself looking for love, and what is love? How do I know when a man really does love me? My ex told me so many times he loved me… and I believed him and I was hurt. How can I protect myself from this happening to me again? Thing is I can't, Love is risky, but the outcome can be far beyond the risk. Nothing in life that is worth having doesn't come with out a list of risk.

Question is are you a risk taker?
