There is no secret you just decide to be happy. Bible even says to count it all joy when you fall into various trials and temptations (James 1:2)

I stumbled across your blog--I love the premise of "ask me anything"! Thats great because im sure it opens the door for amazing conversations.

About joy vs.happy--i see happiness as temporary and fleeting. joy is given by God and does not change with circumstances.
