Richard Dawkins

Alright! This Blog I am typing is one out of frustration and of sadness. I am so tired of hearing this name. I hear this name EVERYWHERE!! I hear it in chatrooms, I hear it on forums, on my friends blogs, and I even see it on friends profiles. This name strikes confusion on Christians, causes fear, and even keeps some old believers in rekindling there relationship with God. Who is this one person? His name is Richard Dawkins.

I feel almost at a lost when I recently googled this name. I feel angry not at what this man says about my God, but more angry that no one is doing ANYTHING!

I feel like David hearing Goliath threats to God’s armies. “Who is this!? Why is allowed to defy God?" And who is going to do anything about this? Why has the church allowed this man to say these things about our God!? Is anyone going to do anything about this!?

From what I understand many people have tried to stand up to this giant in today’s reality. They have tried to debate with him and lost. WHY!?!!

(please view the video)

Who is this man!? How can he say this about my God!!! Who does he think he is?! Why do the Christians fear this man!? So he is educated, he uses big words, he has gone to all the best schools. People listen to him.

You know what I don’t know much. I didn’t do well in school. I didn’t get the best grades. And if you have been following my blog you know that I don’t have the best grammar let alone the best vocabulary. But if no one else is going to stand up to this 21st century giant I will! My God has my words, God has my courage, God has my strength, and best of all God is one MY SIDE!

Psalm 144
1 Praise be to the LORD my Rock,
       who trains my hands for war,
       my fingers for battle.

2 He is my loving God and my fortress,
       my stronghold and my deliverer,
       my shield, in whom I take refuge,
       who subdues peoples [a] under me.

3 O LORD, what is man that you care for him,
       the son of man that you think of him?

4 Man is like a breath;
       his days are like a fleeting shadow.

5 Part your heavens, O LORD, and come down;
       touch the mountains, so that they smoke.

6 Send forth lightning and scatter {the enemies};
       shoot your arrows and rout them.

7 Reach down your hand from on high;
       deliver me and rescue me
       from the mighty waters,
       from the hands of foreigners

8 whose mouths are full of lies,
       whose right hands are deceitful.

9 I will sing a new song to you, O God;
       on the ten-stringed lyre I will make music to you,

10 to the One who gives victory to kings,
       who delivers his servant David from the deadly sword.

11 Deliver me and rescue me
       from the hands of foreigners
       whose mouths are full of lies,
       whose right hands are deceitful.

12 Then our sons in their youth
       will be like well-nurtured plants,
       and our daughters will be like pillars
       carved to adorn a palace.

13 Our barns will be filled
       with every kind of provision.
       Our sheep will increase by thousands,
       by tens of thousands in our fields;

14 our oxen will draw heavy loads.
       There will be no breaching of walls,
       no going into captivity,
       no cry of distress in our streets.

15 Blessed are the people of whom this is true;
       blessed are the people whose God is the LORD.

Grrr, I can't stand this man! Some of the things he says make me so cross, leading people away from God with clever sounding dogma.

He's in for one big surprise at some point. Let's hope he sees the light before it's too late.

Liked the video on Jesus vs Christians :)

In regards to Richard Dawkins.
He cannot prove there is no God, he will admit this too. No one can prove this!

It's his belief that people who believe in God are deluded.
If he wants people to accept his right to believe this, he shouldn't be a hypocrite and should respect people's rights to their beliefs!
Some believe he is deluded! I don't have a problem respecting this belief! :)

Dawkin's quick to tell us that Albert Einstein was a Atheist and although there were things said by Einstein that may suggest this, the following statements clearly do not. Here are two.

In a conversation with Hubertus, Prince of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg,

"In view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human mind, am able to recognize, there are yet people who say there is no God. But what really makes me angry is that they quote me for the support of such views."

An interview to Time Magazine explaining:-

I'm not an atheist. I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. The problem involved is too vast for our limited minds. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God. We see the universe marvelously arranged and obeying certain laws but only dimly understand these laws.

We don't hear about this from Dawkins.
It's clear he has an agenda, yet claims that he's passionate about truth!

This is an interesting debate.
